Outside of work, Kim’s heart belongs to her family and the great outdoors. Quality time with her two sons and four grandchildren fills her with joy, as does embarking on adventures with her fiancé, whether it’s a trip to the beach, a leisurely drive, or a fishing excursion. Kim’s love for creativity shines through in her hobbies, from scrapbooking to gardening, all while maintaining a deep appreciation for nature and wildlife. Her commitment to giving back, through donations to organizations like the Lung Cancer Foundation and the American Cancer Society, reflects her generous spirit and values, mirroring the patient-centric ethos of Blue Bird Dentistry.

With a passion for fostering both oral and overall health, Mikayla brings a wealth of experience and a warm, familial approach to her role. Having graduated with an Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Northern Virginia Community College, Mikayla entered the field in 2013, driven by a desire to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. Her commitment to excellence earned her the prestigious Golden Scaler award in 2019, recognizing her outstanding clinical skills
Within the clinic, Mikayla thrives on the opportunity to positively impact her patients’ well-being. She finds joy in educating and empowering individuals about the critical link between oral hygiene and overall health. Clients appreciate Mikayla’s nurturing demeanor, often remarking on the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere she creates during their visits. To her, patients aren’t just appointments but cherished members of an extended dental family, deserving of the highest level of care. Beyond the clinic walls, Mikayla finds solace in her roots, hailing from Spotsylvania, VA. She has a love for beach outings to Topsail, NC, strumming her guitar, and indulging in quality time with her loved ones—including her beloved Goldendoodle, Jackson. Mikayla’s enthusiasm for exploration extends to Virginia’s wineries, where she savors new experiences.
